I was reading a magazine today, and they were talking about a engine management system, Motec, i called them today to get the price and to see if they got kits for d17... they are going to call me later.... any output from u guys???

Motec is incredibly expensive. I'm talking beyond expensive(used in cars for World Challenge etc.....). They're probably laughing at you right now for even asking.
Plan on getting a call back with a 4 digit number starting with a 3 or 4.

yes they make it for race cars, but they have street packages, m4.... shut up

The M4 starts at around $2000 smarty pants and when I say start, I mean the box. No harnesses, no wideband, no boost, no MAP sensor, no nothing. By the time you're done with everything you need, its a 4 digit number that starts with a 3 or a 4 and I guarantee you they have not a clue whether it would work on this POS motor or not, if they even know what the motor is.
The race car setups can go upwards of 10K.

i use to live around the corner from motec. they dont have anything for our car. will they make one if you request it yes they will. but it will cost you about 3k and up. they made a harnes just for my friends rsx and that ran him 1500 just for the harnes. so unless your a baller or going to do some real racing go look some where else.

BoostedVik, why on earth are you such a smart *** to people, expecially people just telling you the truth and trying to help you out, not to mention they are moderators on the forums so your *** will be gone with a blink of an eye. Parts are hard to find for our cars, unless you have the K20 swap, its not worth 4K to have MoTec, buy a new motor, hell get the K20A3 its good with turbo, and will be alot cheaper and show a lot better results with less money, or if you wanna drop some money get the K20A2. Simple as that, "baller" meaning able to fork out tons of money for stuff. Chill out, your still new here, ask questions and you'll get answers, sorry they aren't the ones your looking for. But don't be a smart *** to people helping out.
