cell phone charger

HELP ME!

hey, with my '03 coupe, some creative plastic work and an extra belt clip, i made a custom cell phone mount on the shifter cover.......however, the placement means that the charger wire has to come around the shifter and it's annoying. i have two chargers, so i was wondering if i could hardwire the cell charger into the console (possibly through the cig. lighter). is that possible? if so, how? would i still be able to use the 12v port (for when i steal my dad's portable gps

)

its possible, can you post up a picture of the charger itself. most likely you can just chop off the plug and hardwire it, but i wanna make sure first.

Hey, sorry that it took me so long to get back.........I don't think that I can post pics yet, but here's the pic from the Verizon website......the charger for motorola v265....if you want an upclose pic, lemme know and i'll find a way to send it to you.
