got this questions kindly answer it for me im really new with mods, pls bear w/ me

1. what is a coilover?

2. what is a dual-coilover?

3. ifever ill be getting 17's what are the other mods i need?

4. can i lower my car without buying anything, like ill be using the existing parts?

5. what is a spring?

1. A coilover is simply a spring that sits on a little podium thing that u can adjust, when u adjust it it either releases or increases the tension of the spring, lowering or raising your car respectiviely

2. I don't really know about the dual coilover, i have heard of it tho

3. You don't NEED any other mods if you just get wheels and tires, it will look goofy unless you lower it

4. You can, technically, by chopping your springs, but don't do this. It will ride like crap plus ppl will make fun of you, and its not always even so your car will look funny.

5. A spring is a spring, you have struts in your car that attach the frame of your car to the part that goes out to your wheel( dont' really know what its called) inside this strut is a shock, which compresses and releases to allow your car to float giving it the nice smooth ride, and the spring wraps around the shock to keep the weight of the car from collapsing the shock. hope this helps a bit, maybe someone else will have some pics of this mess.

one more.....so to lower my car so it wont look funny(lets say i have my 17's now), what are the things that i have to buy??....for you how many inch should i lower my car ideally??
