cool-air directant w/ short-ram intake?
OK, so a while ago I got an AEM short-ram intake because I have an automatic EM2, and they dont make a cold air intake for automatics *with the exception of Injen, but I wanted AEM*
My question is, would making a "cool-air directant" that directed cooler air to the filter/intake make any difference? I know short-ram intakes arent as effective because they take the air from the main part of the engine bay, but I was thinking that if I was to create something to get cooler air to flow into the area of the intake, it may help a little more.
I know with the D17 engine, I wont see any significant gains. But I figured it may help some. And I dont plan on ghetto-rigging this if/when I do it.

It just comes down to what you want... Short ram if you want low- to midrange power, cold air if you want to give up a little bottom to mid end for some more peak power.... but like white civic said, it won't make much of a difference... its just an intake on a small honda block!
