Gearbox master of all things electronic fugged this up... C'mon people his own DIY thread should have told you that this was total BS... Boy can make his own gauges and y'all think he'd actually not know crossing the lines was bad?

if the modification didn't do squat to the car's performance, i'd say added volts wouldn't be worth it..... however it especially makes a difference starting. often i would crank the motor and it would take up to 7 pulls before starting with the stock connections (brand new car, right off the lot, second day i had it the car gave me this crap)... seemed like a fuel pump thing in terms of feel, but it wasn't the fuel pump at all. now, i haven't had the motor crank more than once before starting. full throttle is also more consistent, which is something i didn't expect from extra grounding.

i just replaced the stock grounds with 4 gauge and left the way they were. on some cars, moving the wires causes more problems.

You're absolutley correct. The larger the ground wire the less the resistance; this is common knowledge in electrical work. Why do you think that amps with more power require larger power/ground wires? Man, the guy that you quoted really doesnt know what hes talkin about.
I just got a compaq laptop and I ate a sub for lunch ( ***** )
