I was browsing on ebay and saw "smoked out rear lights", apparently its a film/cover you put on rear lights to smoke them out instead of painting......
Has anyone ever heard of that? or Recommend doing that ?The pics look pretty nice

i did it, took them off cause i was afraid during the day that no one would see my brake lights and run right into me, so i took them off, i wouldnt do it

ok so is it like window tint, if so is it easy to install ?

its really easy to install, you just have to spray soap and water on your taillights than put the sticker on and use the squegee(sp) to push all the water out

i did my headlights too but took them off cause i had to use my brights to see at night, but damn did it look nice during the day on my silver vic

i think im gonna give it a shot i have a white ex shaved w/ 17s and tyc chrome projectors , so i think it would look great . You said you took yours of bc hard to see lights at night ?

yea i got them off of stickercity.com and i picked the darkest tint and my headlights were aimed low(before i knew how to align them myself) and it was so hard to see at night so i would use my brights but i didnt like doing that so i took them off one day, i would like to have the removable ones but i dont think they make them for our cars. The tail light ones were the ones i was really nervous about cause when your driving and the glare of the sun is on the back of your car and you go to brake there is no way someone is gonna see your lights, so i took them off.

i just bought the film for the brake lights so ill see how it goes , the pic doesnt look like the lights are too dark. So hopefully i dont run into the same prob you did. Thanx for youre help !

yea the pic doesnt but its pretty damn dark but good luck with them, no problem man
