OEM ALARM

Does the OEM alarm have a vibration sensor? Or does it only go off if you open the trunk and the doors?

You can have the OEM sensitized, so it goes off when the drivers side door is hit. I had the dealer do it, and all you have to do is lean against the drivers side door and the alarm gives a warning beep.

I was thinking about ordering the OEM alarm from honda-accessories.com but I am unclear about how you arm the alarm? Just by locking the door with the remote?

any help here?

Yep. locking the doors with the remote is how it is armed. It's just your basic keyless entry system.

the oem alarm is pretty lame. the only time it will go off is when a door or the trunk is opened when its armed. the have to break a window or pry open your trunk to set it off. doesn't do much for vandilism but it keeps your stereo safe.
