eManage error code 14

Can't get rid of emanage error code 14 (VTEC signal input error).
I have an LX (no VTEC) and using rotory settings 4-8-C and jumper settings (set for VTEC):
JP1 1-2
JP2 1-2
JP3 2-3
JP4 1-2
JP5 OPEN
JP6 OPEN
JP7 OPEN

I followed the diy and this thread for the settings. I also tried non-VTEC jumper settings w/ the same results. The emanage was installed w/ dezod's pnp harness.
I'm using support tool software v1.25 and have upgraded the firmware on the unit to v1.47. I tried turning off (unchecking) the Auxilary Output Map (VTEC) in the parameter settings w/ no success.
Right now I'm using stock injectors, but will be upgrading to RSX-S 310 cc injectors for an upcoming turbo install.
The error doesn't seem to be causing any problems, just an annoyance.
Any1 know how to get rid of this code?

make sure you turn OFF the injector function if you're using stock.

Upgraded support tool to v1.25a and emanage firmware to v1.48. I turned off all functions/maps except Air Flow Adjustment Map in the parameter settings and followed this procedure:
E-Manage confirm procedure v1.1
This procedure is for those who have problems using the Support Tool on the laptop. There are scenarios where if you use the PARAMETER SETTINGS and "Confirm" your changes, it will cause your car to not run/idle properly
and not all parameters are saved to the E-Manage unit. This seems to exist for Support Tool 1.11 and previous.

1) Turn your car to ON
2) Go to the FILES section of the yahoo group and download the latest US
language and the latest Main unit operating system.
3) Bring up your support tool to ONLINE
4) Go to COMMUNICATION and click on MAIN UNIT UPDATE
5) When it prompts you to TURN OFF MAIN UNIT, turn your key to OFF position.
6) Click OK
7) Exit out of the support tool GUI. Turn ignition to ON
8) Open up your support tool GUI which should make it be in ONLINE state.
9) Go to SETTINGS and click on PARAMETER SETTINGS
10) Make all your changes and select relevant maps. If you do not have the additional harnesses, check the "Air Flow Adjustment Map". Also set your Throttle Setting.
11) Click on CONFIRM. It will pop up asking you to turn off ignition once. Go ahead and turn ignition to OFF. Click OK.
12) Turn ignition to ON. Reconnect support tool so it is ONLINE. DO NOT SHUT DOWN THE SUPPORT TOOL GUI!
13) Go to COMMUNICATION and then click on EXPORT DATA.
14) Once that is done, click on CONFIRM for any pop ups you get. Then turn the ignition to OFF.
15) Turn the ignition to ON and proceed to turn the car ON.

From this point on, NEVER reconfigure the PARAMETER SETTINGS or export to main unit unless you are completely re-doing your maps and configuration!!! This is what screws things up.

Any change you make on your air-flow map are automatically updated with the main unit thus there is no need to "export". Every time you start up your support tool and want to modify the maps on the main unit, just IMPORT from the main unit and proceed to modify it. But again, never mess around with the PARAMETER SETTINGS or EXPORT to main unit unless you go through the steps above again.

Version 1.1 - Updated with more detailed instructions.
No dice, still get error 14. Car seems to drive ok. I'll see what happens when I install the upgraded injectors.
