Hi everybody
I have a 2001 civic ex with the oem black gauge cluster. I want one from a 2002 (white color) all I can find are from Lx not ex as mine. will it fit? cause I think the LX dont have ABS. Olso, is hard to change the color of the backlihgt of the cluster?

i believe the answer is yes you can do that no problem, but still double check.

Changing the backlight color and getting it to look even is somewhat involved. Better read a lot before you try it. You can also get an 03 and up cluster, but you have to re-wire the 2 plugs. Everything has been done. Wouldn't say "no problem", but it's doable.

ya its doable but the silver face 02 cluster is only from sedan. so you will need to take the cluster apart, strip off the paint on the back with acetone, put red film behind the cluster evenly, and put it all together. i did it once, and it turned out great, but it was alot of work.
