FYI Regarding Shift ****/Boot Fix DIY

I just went up to honda to get the part and aparently it is an Acura part and not a honda one, so i had to go to the acura dealership to get it. so, just an FYI to anyone looking to do this DUY, you need to go to acura to get the part, NOT honda.

I work at a Dealership that only has Honda, and I got that part through them, so it can't be that.

yes you are talking about the adaptor, i too had to buy it at acura, the pice just snaps into place in the boot. Then you put your **** on, its very easy, and the DIY on it was very easy to follow, if i rember it also had the part number for the boot adaptor. I did this to use my skunk2 **** and it works fine. Good luck

it doesnt have anything that connects to the **** though. just a hole to go through the shift lever and a snap to connect to the boot. how does it connect to the ****?

Use your imagination... if that doesn't work, follow instructions on the DIY.

The adaptor is not supposed to connect to the ****, it too keep the boot up so it wont sag. Look at the adaptor and look at the oem shift **** it has the same botom pice that conects to the boot. After you put the adaptor on and you see just a hole to go though the shift lever, you take your after market **** and screw it on.

Hold On, When I Went To Honda To Get This Adapter, They Had Told Me;
Honda Doesn't Make This Part,

The Part Number Comes Up. The Partsguy Told Me That They Dicontinued This Item.

If Someone Can Get This Part For Me I Will Pay Them For It.
