It will not affect your ABS at all. In fact, when plus sizing, you can actually stop faster than you could with the stock size.
Or is it they other way around ?? Hmmm....I think stop times are better with 17"s versus 14" or 15" wheels and tires !!

Yeah, I think antidote is right. You'll stop faster because of the larger contact patch from having wider tires, which causes more friction...

.....and degrades your mileage. Only a little though. Has anyone with 17's noticed a real change in fuel economy ? Or top speed for that matter.

Not only does it stop you faster because of the contact patch, but also since it is a larger wheel, it is actually rotating slower than
a wheel 2" smaller at the same speeds....did that make sense ? : )

The only consideration you have to pay attention to with ABS is keeping ALL the tires and rims the same size! Basically, the ABS is determining if one tire is moving at a different speed. Say you had the rear tires a bit bigger, then the ABS would always think the fronts were moving faster.

Plus sizing is not an issue, and if they are all the same size, you can rotate them to last a bit longer.
