mating an ex exhaust system to a lx header?

I have stock headers and was wondering if it was possible to just buy an ex exhaust system and mate it with the lx headers? would i have to bring it to an exhaust shop and get the to mate it for me or is it possible to do it myself? thanks oh just to let everyone know i searched but came up with nothing. thanks.

well, if your doing that for performance, don't do it. EX's header will fit in DX/LX, but you will have problems because the cat-back is not the same.

3 Choices

1. Take is to a shop for some custom piping.

2. Buy the extension pipe that allows you to bolt on EX to a DX/LX.

3. Buy an EX header.

so if i buy an extension can i get any exhaust to go with it??? nismo what kind of exhaust do you have?? i dont know if i'm still gonna do this... initially i was going to get an exhaust system straight up for the lx but then i started to think is i'm gonna do an engine swap when i get back from the middle east then it doesn't matter what exhaust i get i'm gonna have to get it welded to fit the swap i do anyway. well what do you guys think? i really want an exhaust now before i take off... thanks for the help ahead of time and the help that you guys already given me! oh yea also i have an lx sedan not coupe if anyone was wondering.
