would it be alright to get a front tower strut bar and keep the car at its stock height? i know it'll hold back the potential handling of the car, but i just needa know.

If you scroll down a bit theres a whole bunch of stuff talking about suspension and bars.
Front/rear strut bars are completely separate from the shocks/springs, one is suspension, one is chasis, so changing one, generally, does not affect the other, handling dynamics may change, but it won't interfere to any great extent.
