Turbo kit on HND civic?
Turbo kit on HND civic?
Hi.
Dest specialist in techno perfomance upgradind
In this moment i`m very interested in improving of perfomance of my car.
It is:
Honda civik, 5 dr hatchback 7th generation civic
Right handed, directly from Japan
Vin – EU1-1008910,
automatic transmission
Eng type – D15B, gasoline
Model year: 2000 – 2004.
As i know it`s the most popular way to increase the power by installing of turbo kits on type D engines.
I ask Y, give me some information about:
- What turbo kit could be installed in my car 100 %?
- price of full turbo kit on my car

"So funny"
I`m not from US and don`t no english so well..
But trouble is existing now ...
In my city (Krasnodar , RF) nobody can tell about perfomance tuning, absolutly none
What`s why i ask in Us forum, hoping that anybody would give exact info about turbo kit on 7th civic wih D15B engine.....cause everything that i found in e-net (ebay and others) is NOTHING. There are turbo kits on civics in Ek body (6th gen) and kits on civics (7 th gen) with 1,7 engine and upper
If Y find it`s funny, let it be so...
hm

Yes, they have either a d15 or d16 in other countries.
SaMet - You have a lot to consider when looking for a turbo kit and since no in your country can really help you, I suggest not doing it. I can't tell you whether you need a d17 or a d15 turbo manifold. The best thing would be to take pictures so some of the turbo guys can check it out. Look in the forced induction forum. Dezod, supermex, turboengr, civic01vtec, and others could probably help you better.
As for the rest of you, have some respect, he is from Russia!

But that's in other threads.

Ok .
Here some pics of car and engine.
As i understand, the main trouble is to find "manifold" and "e-manage"..D17 manifold and "brains" don`t fit my engine, and at the same time other parts of "D17 turbo kit" fits.....
I think i should mix kits from "D15" and "D17" but without help of @funny gyus@ it`s imposiible.

even for a d15, that looks alot like the USDM d17. but even still youd need to build a kit, because i dont think any US kits' intercooler's would accomodate your bumper.

It is probably a destroked d17. I think an LX manifold would fit, but exhaust mihgt have to be customed. Piping and intercooler should be customed and pieced together. IT is going to get quite tricky.
