Air bypass valve question

My ride
You guys think that the by pass valve is installed in the right spot? Two techs told me to put it here, just curious what your opnion was. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

looks good did u cut the pipe and then put it on??? if u didnt then it is WRONG if you cut the inlet pipe then put it on then YES that is correct...it looks right to me tho bro

I was told by the guy that sold me my AEM cai (APEX Sports) that it should be 12" from the throttle body. But, that puts in the bend when it goes down. Looks good where you put it though.

AZ2K1Civic: I think you'e right. It's supposed to be 12" from the throttle body. Otherwise it'll open when you rev hard. You don't want to be sucking in air through that crappy filter all the time. Chck to make sue this isn't happening. Take off the filter and rev your engine hard and check to see if it's opening up at all. You'll need someone to help you.

It is a one piece intake cut with a dye saw to install the bypass valve =)[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]
