Rod knock?

It is definatly a spun bearing. Which can be caused by oiling issues or spinning the motor to high for the oil pump to suply oil. I wanna know what you did up to this point too!

hmmmm, im thinking of possible causes, first thought is detonation trying to push the piston down before tdc and in turn hesitating the crankshaft putting stress on another pistons connecting rod in an opposite direction opening a clearance and spinning the bearing when it closes again. however i dont think this is it lol

The bearing cap didn't stretch. The bearing is elongated because i had to pry it off the rod journal on the crankshaft. As of now it looks like an oil pump failure is to blame. The engine is a completely stock D17A2 with about 60k miles on it. The bearing did indeed spin inside the rod hence the off-setness of it.
