i am still waiting for the day i see someone with ITBs and an equal length intake manfold that is boosted. that would be dead sexy

It's in the works at my shop right now, right now the biggest problem is finding room in the engine bay, everything else is pretty straightforward. Ill let you know when its up and what the dyno numbers are, this has been my baby for over a year now!

It doesn't seem like it would be all that hard.

A novice welder could make an adapter plate with a short runners and a mounting plates for the stacks.

and the gxsr 750 throttle bodies are fairly cheap.

Here are some on ebay. http://motors.search.ebay.com/search...trypage=search

I'm not sure about how stock or after market injectors would match up.
As well as the airflow sensor

well, not to get all techincal on you, i actually sat down and ran the numbers and flow dynamics to see if it was feasable, and it seems to be that with ITBs, minus velocity stacks, and a charge pipe that has equal diameter runners into each of the bodies distributes equal boost pressure to all cyinders, therefore making the best of your engines volumetric effeicency, thus, creating more horsepower with less engine wear.

I have heard that suzuki throttle bodies are preferred by many peoply making their own ITBs because they can be completley disassembled and spaced out to their spec. I have also heard of people using the honda 954 (i dont know the detailed model number) throttle bodies on older D series engines because of its very similar spacing and it already being a "plug and play" in concerns with the TPS

anyone please correct me if I am wrong...

I want to slowly start buying parts to have a ITB setup in my d17... from what I've read recently... fabbing the parts and all the hardware is pretty much the easy part compared to the TUNING involded in this type of project. It is far more complex than what most people think!

but yeah! im pretty much a nooB myself... so if anyone has any information to share on ITB's (especially SPECIFICALLY FOR D17's!) please share!
