Neon lights in the interior

Anyone mounted neons on the inside of their car? If so, where did you put them and do you have any pics? The inside of my civic is pretty dark at night and just wanted to see what other people were doing.

I have 5 in my car all 9" blue tubes. One under the drivers seat, one under the passenger seat, and two mounted on the sides of the back seats, not visible unless lit, and the final one is custom mounted in the center console (above the cup holders). Brightens up the car alot, while having none of the tubes being visible, therefore its legal. I'll post pics if anyone is interested in seeing it.

Hey TopFuel, how'd you get those 20" neons to be sound activated?

I just went out and bought this light that had a controller attached to it, but it just fits over my dash console...

But, I was thinking of putting a few bulbs down by the feet of the passengers in both the passenger and driver compartments...

How do I wire things to make everything sound-activated..? I'm guessing it's just got something to do with splicing wires right?

Thanx in advance.

I have StreetGlow Gold Series(Green) under the car, and about 40 street glow lights(green) inside the car. Use 6 inch under dashes and seats, and 20 in trunk over speakers if you have any and 10 over small amps which I have JL Audio 250s.

Randy

Don't use AutoZone neons either, they die quickly...

wow, this is wierd... i was gonna head to Circuit City today to get those, haha Anyways, what color would look better... I was thinking blue to match the exterior, EBP, but possibly orange to match the interior lighting(radio, gauges, etc.) black light ones look cool too, but they're more $$$ and i'm going off a $50 gift certificate... any suggestions? thanks!

what size tubes did you fit under your seat? I was thinking about this but I didn't know weather one would be bright enough and which size to get.

Oh and if y'all have pics of how bright the neons glow I'd love that.

15" for the rear is the max. I had some spare 15" tubes lying around, and I have them under the rear seats. It's tough to put em down there, but it can be done.

I got 6 inch under the seats and dashes I believe. Spent over $800 in the lighting inside and outside my car. Go figure, maybe I'll take pictures and post them. But the flash takes away the light, guess I can cover it up.

How did you pay $800 for lighting?

Did you buy an HID kit, or some triple coated 24K gold neons with some diamonds at the end of each one?

thats just stupid to spend $800. I spent $80 on the 5 interior neons I have and the car is fully lit with those. Spent another $20 on Xenon 80 watt headlights, and theres all the lighting needed. Where did you buy your stuff, because I'm gonna go there and ask if I can buy into their company, so I can make a share of this money theyre screwing out of people like you.

not too sure how to "custom" sound activate them but the street glow neons i have are made for sound activation(flashes to the beat of the music). If you're interested i can get the 20" ones for 34$/piece.

Don't buy blue interior map lights for your car they don't make much of a difference.
