i was wondering y people get exhaust and intake etc. for automatic cars... i thought it didnt make a big difference?... i wanna increase performance while keeping the same gas mileage.... but everyone keeps tellin me... theres really nothing u can do for an automatic besides turbo... WHICH TURBO KITS ARE LEGAL ON CIVICS?

man driving an auto sucks big time...i hate it the car was a gift so i cant complain but my tranny is starting to act weird so im gonna prepare for the worst and buy a 5spd tranny with all the components and soon as it goes out im gonna swap out the auto 4 spd for the manual 5spd that way my k20 swap will be easier when i actually do it =)

well in a sense its false....its gonna be more work at the time converting it from auto to manual at that time i figure if ive already converted it it should be a tad bit easier to do. if im still wrong (and i dont mean this in a sarcastic way even tho its gonna sound that way) please correct me. i am learning new things about cars everyday

it really doesnt make a difference, mainly on automatics. but i modded my auto for fun and games. the only actual bolt on that i noticed "improved performance" was a hi flow cat/test pipe.

you dont get both. you can either have one or the other. How many cars out there do you see running 200-300 HP and still get 30-35 MPG, none. if you want performance, you are going to have to sacrifice mileage. SO you better decide which one you want more.

once again some person knocking on autos, i had a turboed auto 4 door civic and owned many a car. and if your knocking on auto hondas then just make fun of all civics due to they are all slow stock.

i have intake and exhaust on an auto and feel a little difference..and gas milage is still good....i dont know exact numbers but still goin to pump same amout of time...i hgonestly dont know where im goin from here...maybe 5 speed...maybe swap...or maybe turbo...

actually if u turbo it you will spool almost all the time while if u shift it has to spool up again....so there are advantages...and they have a bulletproof tranny for autos but it costs a lot...but to beat a stick with an auto....that can handle 16psi

I own a 2 door coupe...and I have a 5zigen catback, Top Speed Header/High Flow Cat, Aem Pulleys, Aem Adjustable Cam Gear, and Denso IK20 Sparks...my next plans are a Apexi SFAC II, Hyper Ground Kit, and Crower Stage 2 package...now, of course there are alot of restrictions driving a Auto, but ****, as long as it sounds good to me, and looks good, its my car so I can do what I want to it...

I hate when people knock on Auto's....we all know that 7th Gen AT's aren't all that great, but its still a 7th Gen, and there's no other body style out there that looks cleaner right now except for ours (ok, the 8th gen looks sick). All I can say is don't knock on Auto's, I have one, and I love it!

i'm still waiting for cam gear. I'm hoping at least another 5whp and then call it quits. I'm surprised how well it pulls in the winter here with the pnp. Summer is okay, not great.

who needs a fast car anyway, especially with gas prices the way they are. 100whp is plenty for my auto, more than enough to keep up with traffic here.
