for the volt meter just hook the yellow and red wire up to the yellow and red on your deck and ground the black wire

for the voltmeter, it should just run to your battery. not sure on the oil pressure sensor since I have never installed one. But like everyone else said, it should tap into the oil pressure sensor. that sensor is located above the oil filter. there should be instructions with the gauge.

Have you check that: http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=155267

Seems to be long and more complicated than expected, but well explained!

Oil pressure gauge install

Okay, don't have the Civic anymore, but did install gauges. So here is some information.

1. The wiring is pretty straightforward. Egauges.com has some nice installation instructions, so I will talk about things specific to the 7th gen.

2. The best place to mount the sender is on the fire wall with a bracket for two reasons. A. The sender is big and could break a fitting that is attached to the block, plus it lasts longer away from heat and vibration. B. The plastic intake manifold curves down, causing to be close to the port on the block.

3. The block is 1/8 BPT. This is not the standard 1/8 NPT that you can buy in stores.

A. Buy the following:
1/8 BPT male to -4AN male
3 foot stainless hose with -4AN 45 degree and -4AN straight ends (36 inches)
1/8 NPT male to -4AN adaptor
1/8 NPT tee
1/8 NPT male to 1/8 BPT female adaptor

B. Attach adapter and hose to allow senders to be mounted remotely. Use 45 degree end on block to allow to clear intake manifold.

For oil pressure?
No you need the sensor. The stock one is a yes/no thing looking to make sure the oil pressure is above some number. Autometer sells replacements.

dude, if you can't do it, then dont do it. Get a pro to do it then because even if you feel like saving a couple bucks it seems like you are going to be making more of a headache out of it then its made to be. Now leave us alone and go to a shop!
