i bought a stainless steel exhaust tip to put over the stock.. i have a 05 SE civic... do i have to cut the stock to put it on or can i just put it over the whole thing even where it curves? .. also if i HAVE to cut.. how?

no, you don't need to cut. it should slip on over top the stock one, and there should be a screw on the bottom that you just screw into the stock pipe. i don't know if you need to drill a hole for the screw or not though.
i would say, slip it on, screw the screw in, and if it feels like it might fall off, take it off, find the mark that the screw made (so you know where to drill). drill the hole (slightly smaller than the screw), and put it back on!

thanks a lot.. the tip i got just screws brackets onto the sides of the stock... so i guess its cool.. i was just scared that i had to cut the curve off... as long as air is being released it should be ok right?.. how come so many people are cutting theres then?...
