anyone try taking those braces off? most likely have to dremel it.. but would that take away all the support then if you leave the horizontal piece in would it sag?

does the bumper need it for support?

what about taking the whole thing out?

opinions, suggestions, etc. welcome

thx

i dont think it would since many people cut it off when they turbocharge their car...to make room for the intercooler

it seems that it would help with some support...

but i don't think it would sag enough to notice.

i don't see it as being that bothersome to the eye, so i don't see a reason to cut it off. if you want it to be all black down there, just get a black grille and put it in.

I just thought it would look neat just to have that one bar.. I dont really think i wanna waste the time and $ to get mesh off ebay, I was only considering this cause it wouldnt cost anything but time..

I wonder if taking the outter 2 out and leaving the middle 2 would look cool.. that should leave it plenty of support.. but it wouldnt look bad just takin all of it out.. hmmm...

Dont think it would work because, when u dremel them out the top of that bar your goign to leave running across is goign to have like 4 big A@s holes in it. Ya see what im saying? It would look like u bit into and left like teeth marks........Best was to describe the hole that woudl be left and be very visible. Dont do it

yea im not super serious but i dont see why u think using a dremel means u have to force it to much that it grind a grove in the top or bottom, if ur careful i dont see it being a problem..
