Engine Swap

I know this sounds like a stupid question.....but im not too familiar with motor swaps and motor compatibilities.....but i was wondering what engine swaps can be performed on an 04 si hb.......i was thinking a GTR-34 engine swap would be sweet but i know its probably not possible lol

anything is pretty much possible, the only thing you will need is a whole lot of cash and someone who is willing to spend there time on it. You're better off with a Type - R swap, the thing about a nissan engine swap that would be most difficult would be the transformation from front wheel drive to rear wheel drive that my friend involves intelligence and skill.

The type r, 220 hp, lsd, quite pricey. but if money is not an option that would be a sweet swap.

what makes it even harder is that it would have to be converted to AWD, not rear.

You can run a GTR powertrain with just rear wheel drive.
Either disconnect the front half shafts and plug them, or use a GTS transmission.
