CEL problem?
CEL problem?
The check engine light in my car will come on then go back off. The intervals for this to happen are random. I do have a resonator ad this is when the light started to come on. I did the Spark plug non-fouler trick and the light went off but after awhile it started coming on again. Does anyone know of any problems that come from the light being on? Also, today on the way to work the car acted like the rev limiter had been dropped to a lower rpm. This happened after driving in the rain but not hitting any puddles. I shut the car down and started it back up and the problem was gone. I dont know if these are caused by the same thing but figured that I would through it in there. A guy at work said that it could be the air sensor.

Well do the most easiest thing first. Check out what the code is? Once that check engine light comes on, a trouble code is stored. Even if it goes off, the code is still stored in memory untill it is cleared or the battery is disconnected. It could be a million things, but checking what the code is, is the first step.
ya where? honda? can any shop check it?
^edit, nevermind read it in another thread
quick queston, i need to get the non-fouler, do i need just one for the lower sensor and where can i get it? and what is the part called?
