Injen short v.s Injen cold
Injen short v.s Injen cold
Which one will i get the most horsepower:
IS1565 or RD1565
i seen the review, but i want to see dyno chart or anything to see the gain of hp. I was going to get AEM cold, but they dont have it for A/T. If there another brand you recomend, let me know. I planning to get the IS1565, since it little cheaper. If the cold air RD1565 is better, i getting that.
I own civic 01 ex A/T
Is it a good idea to get them on ebay or somewhere else?

cold air intake = bad in climates where it rains alot, however a Bypass helps this..
anyways you get about 2 hp from a short ram and about 4 from a cold air intake
thats the difference

There no AEM cold air for A/T civic. I had to choose injen instead.
I live In CA, so it only rains for like 2 or 3 month.

Thx, for the info.
Dyno chart for the AEM short ram (22-501) shows it gain 6.6hp. This intake is cheaper, then injen by alittle. I not to sure what to get now. Most likely i get the injen cold air. I heard it sound pretty good.

Ive had both and they really both feel the same on the butt dyno. I like the look of a cold air better personally but either one will do the job.

I doubt either one will make you burn gas more than the other. I averaged the same milage no matter what kind or brand intake I had.

ok, heres the thing, you most likely wont even know you have an intake (aside from the low end loss) unless you step atleast 1/2 throttle...... and that will end up wasting gas.
