body kit installation

hey im thinking about getting a body kit for my 01 4 door civic ex. are they easy to install yourself? i searched and couldnt find anything. and id there a good place online to buy kits? or is it just easier just to go to my local import shop and pick one out? thanks guys.

ebay, google, and then any merchant on this site. they can be installed but they are usually not painted. so good luck and have fun.

thanks man. i was thinking about just keeping them primed for now :-/ even tho its gay. im gonna get them painted when i get the cash.

same thing around here, install can go for up to $600!!!

So PU is alot easier than Glass, I'm guessing here.

unless you know what your doing, have a shop install it. Most bodykits out there dont have the holes drilled, and most arent direct fitment on the car, they have to be midified some. Some bodykits more then others. It can get pretty expensive to install though if you want it to look good. I guess that is why I see so many kids around here with unpainted shitty *** looking kits on there car. Dont be like them, get it done the right way.

i have an 02 ex Sedan and I decided to go with the kaminari kit , you could actually install it yourself its rather easy but painting is another thing.
