PS Fuse

Can I pull my PS fuse if there is a leak in the PS hoses somewhere. The reason I ask, is cuz I may have a leak. Ill know in a few hours. I probably wont be able to get the parts from Honda till monday. So if I pull the fuse, that will basically make the PS not work since there would be no power to it. What Im worried about is the pully. Does it matter if the pulley is still on??? Is it ok to drive with the fuse pulled for a week or so. I figure it wont damage anything, just have no PS. Thats fine, as long as I can drive. Any help asap would be sweet.

Peace

There is no power steering fuse since you have hydraulic power steering.

I know Ive seen one under my hood. Im pretty sure, I dont have my car on me right now, but Ill check later. That sucks though. I wasnt sure if it would work. I would have to take the pulley off, correct?

You don't want to be driving without your power steering functioning. The steering ratios are different on a car with a power steering pump and without a power steering pump. Your car will require an extreme amount of steering input to control.

I know its extremely difficult to turn, especially at low speeds. You dont understand how mad my girl is getting, since Ive been taking her car for about 1.5 months now. Im gonna go get fluid and check it all out. Ill let ya know later.

So it will damage it with the pulley off?

Just take off the belt. Been driving that way for months now. Parking spots are tricky but bearable...

wheres it at? Running good? Im gonna be dropping mine off at a shop today that owes us money. So they will do free labor/parts. I wanted to learn something new, but I guess i didnt. I cant wait to find out what the hell it is though. Im not even gonna attempt the clutch master cylinder. Thats the biggest pain in the *** part to get to in the whole engine bay it looks like. I bled my lines, double checked everything, but the car wont go in gear when its on, nor does it have any pressure on the clutch. It does start when the pedal is flopped down, but not when I pull it up. ???????? this sucks so bad. I had the worst night. I was planning on cruising with my friends, but hell nah. So hopefully a shop will have it fixed this week. Ill be happy than.
Im also gonna have them do my timing belt, ps pump, belts, hoses, etc. I love free labor/parts
Peace
