Intake reset ECU

How many people here have installed intakes and allowed the ECU to learn on its own (i.e. have not reset the ecu)?

I tried resetting and mileage went bad. Then I just drove 500 miles and everything worked fine.

i just let it learn on its own..it seems that whenever i reset the ecu on my other cars it makes them run like crap for a while.

On our cars you don't have to reset the ECU after every little mod...I didnt
