Header hitting sub-frame?

Over the weekend I installed an HP Header. Everything fit fine until I went to tighten the header down. When torqued, the header contacts the sub-frame of the engine. I spent a lot of hours on Saturday trying to get it to fit without any luck. The contact seems to be very slight. The worst is that when the car is started, the whole front end shakes horribly. I have tried everything short of grinding the sub-frame a bit, which I absolutely will not do. Any help would be great.

is it a 2 piece race header ive heard some of them require cutting a small notch in the subframe.

Sometimes things like this come up... it sucks...

like with the xbrace... god I have to custom fabricate the hell outta that to make it work with the civic exhaust system... The way they have it. It rattles like **** on the brace.. But it works now... and sits tight as hell... Cause I bent it a bit... after cutting a bit off the extra metal off. hehe. Works though.

its a one piece header. In the DIY it said that I would have to cut the lower engine mount, which I got around by removing the mount completely then reinstalling it after I put the header in. I supported it with a floor jack, which kept it at the correct height. I had no problems at all until I saw that it was contacting the sub frame. Its driving me nuts. I did notch the mount attachment a bit, very little though, just enough for clearance. My next idea would be to raise the mount enough for clearance, is there any problems with this?

Ok, so I was able to raise the mount enough to gain the clearance that was needed. The front end doesn't vibrate at all anymore. Only problem I am having is the 02 simulator now. Can't seem to get it to function correctly. The diagram they sent with it doesn't match up with the wiring at all.
