hey, my maintance lights blinks 10 times every time i start my car. i was wondering if the amount of blinks determans the problems, thats how it was was my last car. if so what does 10 mean? my car is going in for service soon so ill have it checked out anyway, but i would like to know if it major or if it could wait til next week to get done when i have time.

10 means you need to reset the light. Open the car manual to the back, look for maintence required light, turn to that page, and follow the rest directions. =)

It alternates between solid on and blinking for 10s on startup to indicate maintenance required. The blinks don't mean anything special for that light.

its just a scheduled maintenance light that comes on after a certain ammount of miles.. there nothing wrong with the car. read the owners manual, it tells you how to turn it off.

yeah it comes on a little under/over sometimes =) no biggie, just reset the light and go on your merry way

It usually means thats its time for your next oil change. And if you change your own oil then just follow the directions in the owners manuel
