brakes
yeah i been putting just regular brakes on my car and i keep burning them up to quick and mess up the rotors i was wondering what are the best brakes and rotors to get for my car and what website to get them off of
if your seriosly going to race/autox get the SSBC or brembo caliper/rotor kits. if your looking for the next best thing get a 12" rotor upgrade(tenzo or aem) and some good pads like hawk hps or ebs greenys. i have tenzo 12" rotor kit and hawk pads and its the difference between night and day.... i havent managed to fade them once. ( also i cut the mudgards to let some damn air in since there no brake cooling ducts on our cars... wtf though up that idea? )

There is nothing wrong with the stock rotors and calipers until you find a way to go 9/10s on a track. Then you start having problems. Even then, the calipers and rotors aren't the issue, and you still don't need to change them. The easiest thing to do is make the realization that your foot controls the life of your brakes, the harder you push the faster they go away. Last minute slam stops are pointless since they're impossible to control your exit speed from the braking zone anyways, so why bother? Unless you're making a panic pass in the last 3 laps, theres no point.
If you're nuking rotors on the street, you need to relearn how to use a brake pedal, because theres no way that should be happening. You're either riding them like grandma, or you think you're Michael Schumacher. Either way, its something that can be fixed for $0.00
