has anyone got there tranny?
ok i just got off the phone with level ten and they say that with there tranny(not there rebuild kit) 11% more power to the wheels, 3x the durability, he says they have pushed 450hp on that tranny. he also says it will shift more firm and faster. but... u have to send in ur tranny and it would cost about 5k for everything including shipping. looks like i gotta start savin.
just wait till i have turbo plus level10pts

What you will need for the swap are:
-manual tranny (obviously)
-transmission mount (since urs came as an auto, you will need this extra mount)
-shifter assembly and linkages
-clutch slave cylinder and reservior
-clutch lines
-manual ecu (auto ecu might work)
-clutch pedal
-brake pedal
-manual starter motor
-manual half-shafts
hope this helps

instead of getting the level 10 tranny, why not go to a local trany shop and have them preformance re-build it... I have had my old monte and my buddies firebird rebuilt local, the firebird (RWD) was like 2k for the rebuild and my monte was like 3200 since it is FWD, which is still a hella lot cheaper than just your 5k shipping costs... just my .02
auto to manual cost a lot mostly because of the labor. its not too common your local shop or average autoshop specializes in auto to manual swaps. not a easy procedure neither.
if your turboed, the better/optional route is to have your auto tranny rebuilded. level10 can do that, but you would have to ship out your tranny to them and i THINK have to pay for shipping again to send back? IDK, never did business with level10.
another pro is on auto, boost is always constant as the throttle is ALWAYS open when you got your foot on it. www.levelten.com
research around some more and maybe you would change your mind

I can vouche for that considering i'm running 12 psi on my daily driver 2002 ex sedan automatic. i've had tranny issues but that was because honda never fixed it in the first place according to the tsb
