It's wonderful that some people are making power out of SOHC Honda motors, but the absolute domination of the DOHC engines over them makes it almost pointless to mod a D-series.

um yea that's for a regrind, not a new cam. It won't last very long, and yea you could have gotten that done last year. It's nothing recent.

I will be getting a VTEC head conversion and than putting that cam in also.

then why did you ask about hp on a reground cam? someone just call them up and ask simple fix , but just an alternate question are they working on a cam for the D17A1?

Because he was unaware at the time he emailed Brian about the R&D going on with the completely new (not a regrind) cams (and I say cams - because he [Brian Crower] has stated that their will be more than one profile avail.) that they have been working on and will be releasing soon.

well obviously ive heard stage 1, 2, and 3 cams but still ive only heard it for the d17a2 as that was what they were given , i dont believe they were given a d17a1 to work with, so i believe we are out of luck?
