Help me out...taking out the interior door handles...

Alright i took out the two screws behind the lil piece of plastic and then i disconnected the power lock connector. Now left is the thing thats connected to the actual handle, how do you detach it? somehow push that black piece of plastic or do you disconnect it someother way. My fingers cant push the lil plastic clip out....

Wait how did you get the actual doorhandle square off? Pry a screwdriver under it?

while we're on the doorhandle subject, is there any way to rig it so the door unlocks when you attempt to open it from the inside with the door locked? I've always enjoyed that feature. at least on the driver side door.

I agree with mexieus - it has gotten kinda annoying having to unlock the door to get out and usually I unlock both doors just cause I use the power lock switch since its so much easier and I dont want the passenger door unlocked all the time

also -
is there a way to make it so I dont have to hold the handle up to lock it without the remote? sometimes I warm up my car and relock it and when its cold I dont want to stand there and mess with the door

I'm hoping there is some way to mod the door to do that stuff. I'm too chicken to look into it myself, I'll let someone else mess with their car and figure out how to do it
