Another Question about turbo's with stock exhaust

can you have a turbo with a stock header and cat? or do you need something like dc headers and no cat and big piping? or can stock handle it?

Remember that the turbo will come with a header, so no need for any headers. The piping after the headers should be as un-restrictive as possible. No shockwave tuning is needed with a turbo. Ideally no cat, no pipe, no muffler, no nothing is needed for a turbo. However in the real world you need a cat to pass inspection and you need a muffler to kill noise.

couldn't have explained it better than grey........you want the least restriction as possible with a turbo......you would ideally want all your piping from the turbo back to be 3'.....buy the least restrictive but legal cat and exhaust system you can......more flow = more hp's........

Obviously you havnt seen our stock exaust system. Is the biggest POS system I have ever seen, but for emmisions purposes, its does what its built for. It depends on how much horse your putting through the engine, but its prolly recomended that an upgrade be done.

the stock one is really small..i think it's better if for a bigger pipe when you have turbo..
like you don't have to ..but it's gonna gain more.
