Springs after body kit?
Ok guys... I'm getting my octane body kit painted and installed (the whole kit) and its gonna be done on wednesday. My dealer is selling performance stuff now (hayame, eibach, even turbos and superchargers for earlier gen civics). I had the ground control coilovers but chickened out and decided to go with just the eibach sportlines - the whole cutting the spring perch just sounds wrong... So i bought the sportlines from my dealer and they'll be here thursday. Now i have two questions for anyone with sideskirts, especially the octane ones.
1) Can you still jack up the car on the frame jack that comes with the car? Or do you have to use a lift or something? The guy here in town that does these gripes about having to work on rides with kits cause he's afriad he'd going to break the fiberglass.
2) How can i get my old name back if my hotmail account got disabled? I want the old name back cause I'm a member on it. It's domesticsnypr. Thanks guys.

I paid around 955 for it with shipping, but insurance paid for it, so i didn't care how much it cost
Anyways... if anyone else could help out with the jack question - like how am i supposed to change a tire on it with the kit and everything? thanks.

I work at pep boys and im in the service area every day and I've seen several cars come in with kits so here's what i can tell ya:
Of all the body kits I've seen on cars, none of em wrapped so far beneath the car itself. There are specific mounting points under your car for a jack, and your kit probably won't touch or cover that spot. I've only seen the octane kit in pics online, but I have changed a flat on my 2001 civic, and it looks like you shouldn't have any problems with changing a flat. Same goes for a lift, so you shouldn't have any problems with the jack that comes with our car, just be careful. If it looks like you might hit your kit when turnin the jack to raise your car, you might need a different style jack (like those hydraulic ones with a pump). The one's that come with our car are kinda crappy, but check and see first. If it was a hassle to change a flat tire with a body kit, not that many people would consider buyin em.
hope that helps
