DONT diconnect anything... theres no need to diconnect your battery theres no kind of electricity in your intake, think about it. oh yeah its real easy to install should take more than half hour.ooohhhhh yeah

iam sure that if air-freshners came with instructions, they would tell you to disconect your battery before sliding them on your rear view mirror!!.......you don't have to disconect your battery, it has nothing to do with it at all............

The reason they say to disconnect the battery is to re-set the ECU so that it will program itself to the new intake (your changing the Air/Fuel mixture). If not, I think it will eventually set itself, but I'm not sure how long it will take.

BumpinCivic:: I can get you your security number if you want. Just pull out your radio and give me the serial number off it and I will hook you up. I am a Honda tech so I have my resources.

If you unhook the top plug of the ECU you also reset the ecu and you don't have to mess with anyhting else.
