Hey everyone, I just got my 02 EX like a month ago and I just noticed this now. Whenever I start my car the maintenance light blinks for about 15 seconds after my car starts. Is this normal or is there sumthin up? The car only has 56.6k so I know it doesn't need any regular maintenance... Thanks!
Not certain. But... I think it should blink until 60k, and then stay solid. Once this happens, you are supposed to take in for maintenance and the usual crap. Of course you don't have to, just hold the button by your guages for like 30 seconds and it resets it.

It worries me It blinks at the severe service oil change interval, than stays solid at the normal oil change interval.
To reset it, hold down the odometer reset button while you start the car and hold it down until the light disappears.

It means your car will fall apart if you don't take it to the dealer.
