Advice needed on cleaning inside windows.
There's a hazy film on the interior of my windshield, front and back. I have a couple of ideas to clean it. Simply using windex and elbow grease is not cutting it, the film remains.
How about:
1) Use simple green.
2) Water and a green scrubbing pad, may not be good for the defrost lines.
3) Vinegar and water.
4) Soap (ivory) and water.
What do you think is the way to go?

I've been using Crystal Clear Windshield Wipes from a company called P21S and I'm happy with the results. I've also tried them on my wife's Subaru wagon with windows that hadn't been cleaned in 8+ months and they took the grime right off. You can buy them at Autodetail.com .
Use some liquid soap and warm water with a soft cloth if you have tinted windows ........ but make sure its a soft cloth or you might scratch the tint....... there is also some stuff called tint cleaner but i have never used it but its supposed to clean the tint on the windows
Yes, I have Clearvue and it works very well (on tinted windows anyway). Only like 3 bucks for a bottle. I had that grime too on my back window and it wouldnt go away. I got my windows tinted and that was the end of the grime problem.
good luck anyways
good luck anyways I'm bigger than you.

I don't have tints, but the best way to clean the windows, BOTH THE interior and exterior, is to go and get any type of window cleaner for your car (i think I have Turtle Wax brand or something)...spray the desired area, and then to wipe it off use a piece of newspaper....For real, my buddy showed me that a few months ago and it is by far the best way to clean them and they won't have any streaks at all...Just take a big piece of newspaper and fold it into the size of a paper towel and rub away----it may seem like it won't dry and it'll get hazy , but just keep buffing w/the newspaper and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
However, I don't know if this is a good idea w/tints, I don't have them so I wouldn't know.....

one simply trick always works for me... after you have cleaned your windows with windex, let them get completely dry.. then take a new DRY paper towel and just buff out the haze... it's best if u can do it in sunlight so u see where the haze is and isnt.. good luck
