Question I Need Tranny Help Asap

i started pulling my tranny last night and i got stuck i got everything un hooked and now i just cant figure out how to get it out the bay!! Has anyone removed one before? I have been told to remove the sub frame( how hard is that? and isnt it connecting to the lower tie arms of the suspension?) or ive been told to remove everything off the side of the engine and pull it out the top? what do i do somebody help me!!!!!!!

its easier to pull it out from the bottom. BTW theres a very detailed DIY of taking the tranny out. Go check it out. Its under DIY's label at the top of the page. goodluck

if your talking about the clutch install yeah they dont tell you how to take the tranny out they just unhook it they keep it in the engine bay the whole time they put in the clutch

Take the subframe out. Pull off the nuts that connect the lower control arms to the ball joints, then there are six more bolts holding the subframe on. Four of them are 17mm and the other two are 14mm (I think). You might want to have someone help you. You can lift it by yourself but just to be safe......
