my buddy can hook me up with an Safc for free if i use it. should i take it?? will it make my car faster?? btw.. my cars an 04 lx

hell yeah take it for free. even if you don't change any settings, it still looks nice. If you install it and have it dyno tuned, you might get a very small amount of power out of it. Not enough to feel it driving though.

safc = Apex'i super air flow converter. and I think you need an SAFC-II for our 7thgens

The safc I or II are both universal applications!

Yes it will make your car faster if it's running a little rich around 4000-4600 rpms which just about all Honda's Do! Than you will feel your car pulling harder as it nails the right powerband as you up shift at 6600 rpm!
