strut bar

noob question.
i never put one on before and before i go ripping things apart i would like to know how to do it.
i know search, i did and couldn't find a diy for it,
so does any1 know or have the link to it???

just remove the 2 strut tower nuts that line up with the strut bar on both sides. put bar in, then put the nuts on, then tighten. very easy. if you cant do that, you shouldnt be working on your car by yourself

lol, i thought that was all that was needed but wasnt sure if they had to be tighten to a certain torque, thanx though

if you have a neuspeep strut tower bar then you have to move your clutch reservior forward to allow the bar to fit properly otherwise ignore it

Any change in handling/feel? Been thinking of doing it myself. Any problems with hood clearance?

if it's been designed for your car there will be no prob
handling is improved for faster cornering not insane cornering

neuspeed has no problem with hood clearance.

neither does dc sports
but you do have to move the clutch reservoir for neuspeed

would dc strut bar fit injen cai? i am only sure that the neuspeed will.

i hade to adjust the bar forward to fit around the intake and had to mov the reservoir.
i had plenty of clearance

DC sports Struts clears injen cai as well as sri, i'm on dc sports strut with injen sri...
