My Motives
I may have a new well paying job, and dealer prices on all car parts that I want! So I have made this list. I may add to it, if you think its out of order help me out. And yea, I'm kind of a noob. The suspension parts i didn't mention I already have. I have a magnaflow exhaust, but I hear apexi is better with turbo setups.
Essentials
Shocks
rear upper strut bar
front x-brace
front and rear sway bars
Turbo
Apex'i full exhaust
high flow fuel pump
high flow injector's
Clutch and flywheel
dyno tune
internals work
full ignition setup (I'm a n00b with this)
More to come.
If I have some extra cash
head unit mounting kit (I already have one, but a better one is what I want)
dvd player

Why dont you sell your car and take the thousands of dollars you are going to spend on performance parts and buy a sports car? Im not trying to be a smartass, its just that the civic is an "economy" car not a performance car. You could have a nice car for the money you will have invested in yours when its all said and done. And it still will not be very fast compared to alot of other cars running around on the street. And again, Im not being smart, thats just alot of money in parts and work to have an economy car with maybe 200hp.

Alright, first things first. blahman, you gotta realize that 12secelcamino seems to have missed the fact that the fastest car in the NHRA Pro Stock is a civic. I believe it ran a 6.64 in the 1/4 mile at englishtown, pa recently. Why use the civic instead of the *insert muscle/sport car here*? First off, the civic is your car. if you try hard to customize it, nobody's got one like yours. You also have to remember that if you build it yourself, you can make it more reliable. If I put 25 grand into my civic ex, I would almost guarantee that I could make it more powerful, handle better, and more reliable. I've heard of civics that could out-corner and out-slalom a ferrari 360 spider I believe (excuse me if I'm wrong, I can't remember clearly), and a lamborghini diablo. I'm sure he didn't spend $200k to make it happen. A good article to read to prove my point: http://www.superstreetonline.com/fea...07_injencivic/
They use a B18 there, but if you wanna do it to an 01-03, I recommend either heavy engine building or just swap in a K20, then build that up for major horsepower if you want that. Our stock blocks are pretty good for ~200 horsepower with a turbo if that's all you're going for, but after that point, you're gonna need sleeves/gaskets/low comp pistons/nicer cam.
