keyless entry

my dad got a remote start for his car so he gave me his keyless entry transmitter, i programed it to my car, but now it sets off both cars, how can i get his off it? thanks

I think you have to disable it from the other car. You could probably program that thing to 50 cars and it would work on all 50 cars, unless you disabled each one seperatly. That is how dealers do it when someone looses there key.

the after market remote start should have keyless entry too. just unplug his OEM keyless entry.
