i wonder if anyone here ever did an window conversion (manual to auto, windows).

A couple of people on here have done it and have done so by using a kit they bought off of Ebay.

Pros: It's cheaper, cost effective and can mount the switches wherever you like.

Cons: It's not factory, You will have a plug that covers where your window cranks go.

That's all i've heard about it. I, personally, have not looked very hard into it, but may do so soon. Just do a search, I'm sure the subject has been beaten to death.

ive done it before..or i mean in the processing of it..i just wanted to know if anyone eles have done it..and how's did they're turn out.

if you got the money and time, try finding the parts from junkyard or so. if not get an aftermarket unit from SPAL to add onto the existing window component.

yeah, they make linear actuator or something like that.

here is the spal w/ switches. dont get kit w/o switches cause they cost a lot to buy separate.

dang, i'd swap from power windows to roll up windows, weight savings! lol
