Rep Power: 394 The stock cam gear (no s because we only have one cam shaft) is not adjustable. At least I don't think it is. Even if it is, then it's not built to be adjusted frequently. I'de get AEM's adjustable cam gear. They just came out. I'm not aware of any place that sells them yet, but their here on AEM's site: AEM Cam Gears Part number 23-605.

Rep Power: 343 from my understanding.. adjustable cam gears can only adjust ur power curve.. as in, you move the power output up or down the power curve...
you wont make more horsepower.. but u can adjust where u want the most horsepower/torque at what rpm and etc.

Rep Power: 0 CAPYODA is correct....Cam Gears do not add any horsepower. What it can do is adjust your powerband. Keep in mind, if you adjust the power band to lower rpms, your higher rpms will suffer. Vice verse if you adjust towards the higher rpms.

Rep Power: 379 just by putting on a cam gear will increase your hp and tq. it is like a pulley... if you really want to adjust it you need to go to a professional with a dyno and he can give you the max hp and tq.

Rep Power: 394 Yep. I'm not sure what the level of adjustment is on that particular brand of cam gear, but technically you can adjust it so that the valves open at the wrong time and they get hit by the piston. That's an extreme case though. You can also adjust it so that the intake valves open too late and you get an air/fuel mixture that gets backwashed into the intake manifold by the piston as it's moving up. That could cauuse your intake manifold to explode if there's a stray spark. All sorts of stupid things. The best way is to either get one and leave it alone (gaining torque from the fact that it's lighter) or to get one and adjust it one degree advanced timing. That's very safe to do and I think you'll gain a little torque (power) by doing that. The best way is to get one and get your car on a dyno jet. Then measure the horsepower vs. detonation that you get by advanced timing. Try higher octane gas to advance it even more for higher horsepower gains. Blah blah blah blah blah...

Rep Power: 0 The came gear does add HP and torque, it says so right on aem's website. I have mine on order and it is coming in tomorrow, I will post results. Also Why would they make it for our car if the ECU makes it not work.. I don't think some of you know what you're talking about! Get your facts right before you post some BS...
