Another Jack Question
When I jack up the front of my car from the designated front jack location to put on stands, one side of the car is always higher than the other. I forget which side raises higher, but could check if needed. What I mean is that when I jack up the front of the car the jack stand on one side of the car can slide easily under the jack point, but the other side I can't even get the jack stand under the jack point. I mean there is about a good 1/2" or more difference.
I don't think my driveway is that sloped side to side and I don't remember this happening when I jacked up the back of the car to replace the sway bar. Is this normal or a special characteristic of my car?

My car does it too.... Left side is lower IIRC... its because of the engine. It weighs more than the transmission and its on the left side of the car. Its cuz you have the car teetering on the jack. It should level itself once you put it on 2 stands.

Thanks. My first thought was that maybe my stock suspension was going, then realized jacking deals with the frame only and suspension has no factor
. Then I thought maybe my frame was a little off from speed bumps or pot holes. Then I noticed a transverse crack on my driveway that the oak tree may be lifting. So many options to choose from, but the additional weight from the engine makes sense.
