How much are we talking?

I was just wondering how much would someone be looking at for an engine swap. I now that your looking at something like anywhere between 2-5k for the engine but what other expenses are there? There are a couple of people on this site that hint that they have the k20a swap but the have no proof to back it up. I'm not saying that everyone that says it is lying; I've seen a couple pictures with the engine in it. IDK if anyone recalls the Honda Tuning magazine in which they had one of the first civic's with the K20a motor swap, but they said something about "breaking" the K20a engine code? Maybe I'm not getting that but I thought that the engine code was K20a. Some comments plz..

ok.....4-6 grand......theres more then a few on here with the k20...look at 'hawk' he's got a sweet set up, also doubledeuce2k2. yes hteres more to it then just the engine. u gotta get the transmission....axles..ecu components. u gotta move things around in the engine bay.proper engine mounts. u gotta get brake upgrades (if yur smart). u gotta get it tuned properly. u got a lot of little details u need to upgrade. if u searched u'd find a whole bunch of stuff.
