i got these from robearracing.com... They are not the "spring" type pins.
NeonImpact has the same pins as me, but i cant really talk to him since hes always busy.

The first step is to find a good mounting point for the pin(the long piece). Mine are mounted fairly far out to each side. Then you have to drill a hole for each and use the included locking nuts to keep the pin from moving. You will drill a hole in the hood for the pin to come through and then adjust the locking pin(part with the ring) before screwing those into the hood. And you might want some grease to help the process since it will take some time for the pieces to settle in and work smoothly together. It takes a hell of a lot of adjustment and I just had mine done professionally so I could blame someone else if something went wrong.
I'll take some pics and hopefully post them for you in the next day or two. I've gotta say they look pretty good and I really needed them since the metal my hood latch connects to was bent and causing my hood to rattle violently at 60+ mph.
