Exclamation HELP! wrist pins

how do you remove the wrist pins so you can change the pistons and keep the same rod?.

use a hydraulic press, pin and pin driver.

so you don't have to heat then up to get the pin out?

according to the manual no heating required.

FYI:
You will not be able to reuse the piston after removing the pin.

The press distorts it to much to use.

To install the pin, you do have to heat the end of the rod. The manual may not say it, but any good shop will heat the end of the rod with a torch and slide it in.
